Razzmatazz and Perfect Rhythm win Subli Competition Aerdenhout

At the third selection competition of the Subli Competition for Young Dressage Horses Sunday in Aerdenhout, four horses scored above 80%. Top scorer in the four-year-olds was Razzmatazz (by Vitalis) with 81.2 and the best in the five-year-olds was Perfect Rhythm (by Lord Europe) with 84.4. Both horses were expertly presented by Kim Noordijk.

High scores in the five-year-olds

Among the five-year-olds, three horses were awarded scores above 80%. Perfect Rhythm, presented by Kim Noordijk, was the outlier with 84.4. Pitch Perfect and Vai Bruntink, who won the selection competition in Delft last month, were now second with 82.2. Hexagons Popeye, ridden by Margriet Simonse, followed in third place with 80.8.

Top rankings for Kim Noordijk in the four-year-olds

Also in the four-year-olds Kim Noordijk had the first place by riding Perfect Ritme to 84.4. Just like in the five-year-olds, Vai Bruntink had the number two in the four-year-olds under the saddle: Rayabel S, who won last month in Delft. In Aerdenhout the test was rewarded with 77.8. The same score of 77.8 was also for Roebel, who came third. Roebel was also presented by Kim Noordijk who rode all three of her horses to a top classification.

Promising horses in the lead group

Both classes on the grounds of the NHRV in Aerdenhout were judged by Paula Osterholt and Els Schotman. "In the leading group in the five-year-olds, there was really good riding with very good horses that we can expect a lot from in the future," Paula Osterholt said. "Kim really stood out in terms of riding. Vai and Margriet were very close, both Perfect Pitch and Hexagons Popeye are very good horses and in terms of gaits there was no difference. Also in the four year olds Kim presented her horses so incredibly fine. Some horses were just too round set. They are four year olds and all is still allowed. But we prefer to see the nose out and nicely on length," continued Osterholt.
