Subli Competition Young Dressage Horses

Subli Competition for Young Dressage Horses is the competition for four- and five-year-old dressage horses. The competition consists of eight selection competitions (both indoor and outdoor), a semi-final and a final. The competitions take place on sandy grounds. The two highest results from the selections count for placement in the semifinals. The best 15 horses per age group will be invited to the semifinals in December. The best 5 horses per age group are invited to the finals.

Many successful horses started their careers in the Subli Competition, think of toppers like Arlando, Capri Sonne Jr., Johnny Depp and Sir Fashion. On Thursday, January 23, 2025, the final of the previous season took place. Emmelie Scholtens won in the four-year-olds with Port-au-Prince, while Charlotte Fry took victory in the five-year-olds with Secret Lover with an impressive score of 87.600%. In this article, we look back on this fine edition.

The Subli Competition starts again! At the end of May we open the new season with the first selection competition at Manege de Molenheide in Schijndel. Check the full calendar and sign up!

During the selection competitions and half finals, you ride a mooring test for four- or five-year-old horses (KNHS tests 50a and 51a). As a rider, you can compose the test yourself. in which you can present your horse in the best possible way. You have to show the compulsory compulsory elements. Regulations

The Subli Competition for Young Dressage Horses is open to four- and five-year-old dressage horses. Important goal of this competition is to test in a responsible way the talent of the young horses. In addition, riders who are no longer allowed to compete in the lower classes, their young horses competition experience on trial-oriented presentation. The competition is open to horses of all studbooks, provided that they have a valid starting pass with the relevant rider. During the competition an intermediate ranking is kept of all achieved competition results. The minimum number of competitions that must be ridden is two and the maximum number of competitions in which a horse may participate is three. The two best results count to qualify for participation in the half finals. The best 15 horses per age group will be invited to the semi- finals in December.
