Subli Lucerne consists of French sun-dried alfalfa with vegetable oil. It is flavorful and has a very low sugar and starch content. With Subli Lucerne you add structure and variety to your horse or pony's ration. It requires better chewing, resulting in more saliva being produced. This supports a healthy digestion.
The protein content is lower than other alfalfa products because part of the protein-rich leaf is sieved out. Vegetable oil is then added to bind the fine product particles. This creates less dust.
Feed advice
Replace part of the roughage, for example 2 kg of roughage with 2 kg of alfalfa. Feed this amount of alfalfa in at least two portions per day, at the same time as the concentrate feed. Do not feed more alfalfa than half the roughage portion.
